INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK:
Biloxi, Birds and Being Back Home
I have served in many different capacities on my journey on the Road of Life. Pastor was one of many titles I held. I love the opportunity to minister to others. However, when it came to helping someone deal with the pain of grief, I always felt inadequate.

Some of my favorite passages from the Bible are found in the third chapter of the Book of Ecclesiastes, the verses that speak of “A time and a season for every purpose under Heaven.”

One of the verses reads, “There is a time to be born and a time to die.” Another speaks of a time for weeping and mourning. We all have lost people we love. When that happens it hurts. It hurts badly. Each loss is very personal and we cannot say to those who grieve, “I understand how you feel.” We cannot understand the depth of any relationships, outside our own.  > MORE
